Verna Sue Hollingsworth was reported missing by her daughter on July 14th, 1985. She had come to her mother's residence and noticed that her vehicle was there. She unlocked the door and could not find her mother inside. The air conditioner was running. The daughter indicated that it was unlike her to leave the air conditioner running and not putting a padlock on the door when she left. Several people were contacted but nobody knew where she was at.
